Welcome to your new gorgeous home for the summer!
We start each program off with a tour of the city on the first Sunday you are in town. The goal of this excursion is to familiarize everyone with the city so that you can find your way around and pick out spots you may want to revisit by the end of the summer. All your expenses will be covered as you get to know the public transportation system, the taxis, and the geography of the city. You’ll find out why there are bullet holes in the national museum and learn how coffee built the national theatre.
Seminars & Networking
The Costa Rica Speaker Series occurs once per week after work where industry professionals share their success stories and outline the essential aspects of preparing for life after college. The Speaker Series is a valuable aspect of the Internship Program, as it allows you to gain insight from industry professionals. Additionally, you will spend time building your professional network, as you will have time to talk with each at the end of their speech.
The purpose of the series is to give you a broader perspective, while inspiring you to think about what career you wish to pursue. Below is a snapshot of a few of the guest speakers we have hosted at previous programs.
